Aboutdo-doについて

do-do は、「物を動かし、心も動かす。」をコンセプトに掲げる、愛知県名古屋市の浅井製作所による実験的な商品を開発するプロジェクトです。プロジェクトネームには、コンセプトにもある2つの「動」を中核に据えて活動していく意志を込めました。
浅井製作所の本業である産業機械分野の業務は、緻密な正確性、安定した動作、安全性などが求められ、とても機密性の高い案件が多いことが特徴です。
最初のプロダクトbreezeでは、これまで培ったスキルやノウハウを活かしつつも「不安定な動きを安定的につくりだす」ことを目指し、「機能的ではなく情緒的」なモノを一般消費者向けに作ることで、産業機械分野の技術を新たな方向へ拡張していくことを目指しています。

do-do is a project to develop experimental products by Asai Seisakusho of Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, based on the concept of "moving things and moving hearts.
While utilizing the skills and know-how cultivated in the industrial machinery field, the project aims to "create unstable movements in a stable manner" and to expand the technology of the industrial machinery field in a new direction by creating "emotional rather than functional" objects for general consumers.

ゆらゆら、コロコロと、心地よい気配を生む円筒型のオブジェクト。
表裏共に、グラフィックが施されたミラーで仕上げられており、
ミラーが周囲の環境を写し込むことで空間との一体感が生まれます。
不規則で優しい動きは、どこか愛らしく、空間にゆらぎを生み、気配を感じさせます。
複雑なプログラムではなく、産業機械分野でのノウハウを活かした、精密な寸法のコントロール、
そして微細な重量バランスの変化によって、ランダムで柔らかな動きを実現しました。

Swaying gently, rolling softly, this cylindrical object creates a comfortable atmosphere.
Both sides are finished with mirrors featuring graphic designs,reflecting the surrounding environment to create a sense of unity with the space.
Its irregular, gentle movement is somehow endearing, introducing a subtle fluctuation to the space and evoking a sense of presence.
Achieved not through complex programming, but by leveraging expertise from the industrial machinery field:
precise dimensional control and subtle shifts in weight balance enable its random, soft motion.

風の無い場所に置くことでその場所に風を感じ、気持ちにやすらぎを、空間にゆらぎを与えてくれるプロダクトです。
ソーラーパネルからの電力を動力源としますが、それを不安定な動きに変換することで自然の風のようなゆらぎを生み出します。
使用素材については、機械や電力のイメージを感じさせないように、あえてほとんどの外観パーツを紙で製作しています。

By placing it in a place where there is no wind, you can feel the wind in the place and give a sense of relaxation to the space. This product gives you a sense of wind in the place, and gives you a feeling of relaxation and a sense of space. It is powered by electricity from solar panels, but by converting it into unstable movement, it produces a fluctuation like that of natural wind. Most of the exterior parts are made of paper so as not to evoke the image of a machine or electric power.
